Celebrate your special day at a private location on the shores of Lake Windermere. This can be booked independently for a marquee wedding reception at any time of year. If you want to find luxury accommodation for your guests then we have 4 star self catering cottages accommodating up to 132.

As well as the Lake side location we have a Victorian Farm Stead where you can have your marquee, this means your guests can stay within the cottages in the court yard and have the convenience of the marquee within walking distance. For this option we do weddings in June and then the winter months.

For an intimate romantic private reception why not choose our chapel, it is located within the Graythwaite Estate Gardens, your back drop is Graythwaite Hall and the Knott Garden, a dream for memorable photographs. This can be rented for an afternoon reception and is perfect for that cozy winter wedding.
