Located on a private country estate on the western shores of Lake Windermere and 4 miles south of Hawkshead, Graythwaite Home Farm Holidays offer the highest standard in self-catering cottages. Thirteen cottages and barn conversions are located within a secluded courtyard. The original Victorian Farmstead of the estate has been skilfully converted and so the sense of serenity that has been enjoyed at Graythwaite since the 1600s can still be experienced today. Being surrounded by Lakeland fells and woodland, children along with adults can enjoy the freedom of exploring without the risk of busy traffic. Away from Home Farm we have a further 9 cottages, each cottage is totally private and has stunning views of Lake Windermere. (Keepers cottage overlooks the estate fishing tarn). Cottages sleep 2 4 6 8 10 and 16. To create a sense of wellbeing during your stay we have an indoor heated swimming pool and fitness suite. Fly fishing is available on the estates tarn. Guests can enjoy their own private lake frontage to Windermere for boating and picnics.
